Breyer Model Horse Paint Your Own Horse Activity Kit (Toy) I bought the stablemates version as well, and as I said there, the paint dries fast so mixing colors needs to be done quickly and in an amount that you won't run out of. The models are true paddock pals and easier to paint because they are larger then the stablemates. Still an older child, 10 +, would have an easier time painting it realistically because it does take time and a steady hand.
