Playskool Sesame Street Big Hugs Elmo (Toy) My 2.5 son was a big fan of Elmo before he got Big Hugs Elmo. He was thrilled to open the box and discover this huge Elmo in it. Big Hugs Elmo requires batteries to sing and hug. It took us some time to get these, and my son enjoyed playing with Elmo without the batteries. He enjoyed cuddling and playing with him. Now that the batteries are in, my son loves Elmo even more. I wouldn't say hugging is the best feature. Big Hug Elmo also sings, opening and closing his mouth. My son's favorite song is the lullaby.
