Sony CPF1LS USB Portable Power Supply with 3500 mAh Battery (Electronics) I use this external battery charger for my htc 1 smartphone, which has a battery capacity of 2350 mah. I found that I was able to charge my phone faster using the sony than the htc a/c wall charger that comes with the phone! I tested how quickly the sony worked, starting with the battery at 17%, and it went to 43% after 37 min., 70% in 77 min., and 98% after 129 min. I did the charging while the phone was in sleep mode, rather than shut down entirely. After charging the phone, the sony charger had very little juice left, so it's basically good for one charge only.
The charger is about the same size and weight as the phone, but slightly thicker. It's elegantly designed and engineered, and it comes with a cable which is about 22 1/2 in. long. I'm able to charge the sony by plugging its cable into my htc a/c wall charger.
Insofar as I can tell, after using the charger for about a week, it's an excellent product.
