When I saw the picture of this item, I assume it is pretty, too. But actually it is practical, but nothing to say about #taste#. Of course, #CD player# is equal to # old fashion# now. So if you are looking for the latest generations of Sony CD players, it is not; but if you are just looking for a thing to play all CDs sleeping on your shelf, it works very well.
