Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition [Download] (Software Download) Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition feels like the culmination of over two decades' worth of fighting games. Every lesson that Capcom learned along the way is here, from counters to dash-cancels to counter-throws and more. At the same time, it feels very much like classic Street Fighter. It's not the more frenetic combat of the Alpha Series, it's somewhere between SFII: World Warrior and SSF II: Turbo Edition.
The beauty of it is, you don't even have to have been an old FGC vet or tourney regular to learn this game; it comes with a suite of challenges which slowly teach you the basics of every character.
The only downside is the enforced GFWL overlay, which adds an extra 30 seconds or so to the game initialization. Still, even that minor hiccup is not enough to lower the gaming experience for me.
