The Sims 3 - PC (DVD-ROM) EA did a horrible job with the time clock in this game. This game is more like babysitting, you want to enjoy multiple activities, but if you decide to get a job... forget it. Even on your days off, the time is a bit of a challenge, you have to eat, you have to clean, you have to take a bath, and by the time you've finished these things... it's noon already. You are lucky to get in 1 or 2 activities and something's going to get cancelled out if you don't want your sim to stay up late and over sleep. Which results in you being ready to take on an activity with other sims that are clearly ready to go to bed.
It's incredibly dumb... #Lets make a game that's too quick to enjoy much of anything in the world that we've spent all this time developing.#, makes absolute sense... if sense meant something absolutely stupid.
Some may really like this game, and may avoid getting their sims to work in order for them to get more time to enjoy activities, but it's still too fast. If we buy the game we should be able to enjoy it and not be rushed through the experience or it's not worth buying. Would I get the Sims 4 game? Heck no! They'd better give us the option to slow down the clock (without the world slowing down) as well as the option to stop the clock and enjoy things in order for that to be truly worth it to me. The smallest things take up chunks of time in Sims 3, and the experience is far from enjoyable...
I really mean that. So think long and hard before you buy this game. If you want to get a game where you are stuck in the routine of constantly feeding, bathing, and cleaning without much of any time to enjoy much of anything else in the world, then this is for you.
If you want to get out and explore freely without having to worry about rushing right back home because the day is over after the necessities and the attempt to do a few things, then this isn't for you.
