Thames & Kosmos Air + Water Power (Toy) It was broken due to thames and kosmos packaging, they did it. these pieces have little hard plastic tips (for the hoses to connect), just long enough to shear off. the packaging offers no support or protection, when you open it you will see, the most important parts that you cannot replace are the ones like this in the box. the little tip to hook the hose on was broken in the bottom of the box. We were so excited, it isn't an awful product, but it is one where if any piece is cut at all wrong you might as well throw it away. thinking about how often plastic pieces are messed up in stuff I buy, I am rethinking anything like this from them. It is hard to get the pieces to "pop" together and I am afraid if pushed hard would break. but I also think my daughter could do this (2nd grader), the pictures are pretty easy, I got a tooth pick out so I could count holes in pics. that is about it as we couldn't actually do anything because it was BROKEN!
