The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland (Kindle Edition) Our Abu Dhabi Book Club read this book for a monthly selection - we loved it for the content and are quite curious to know what happened to some of the passengers who were featured in the book - for instance - did the Couple who were flirting having a 'shipboard romance' so to speak get together after they got back to their respective homes in the United States?
Because our Book Club is truly represented by a variety of women from around-the-world, it touched our hearts collectively and was food for thought in answering the question - what would we do if 6,000 people came to our own back yards?
