After having this game for a week or so I have given this a pretty good go. The game is good. It could be stellar. PC version should have shipped with new rendering engine that is a HUGE dissapointment for me. fifa 14 should be fifa 14. It should not be a totally different rendering engine on consoles but old stagnant one on PCs. It should be a different game. I felt I was mislead into thinking this game had next gen rendering.
If you own any pc game pad other than logitech you may be in a bumpy road mapping your buttons. It involved looking at mapping files and manually mapping my controller. There should be an intuitive UI to map buttons on a game pad to any button on the game. If you expect this... you will be dissapointed. But after hacking the mapp files I have my no-name controller able to do all the button combinations of a logitech.
hack inclueded:
Registry hack to label the name of the controler.
hack the mapping file to edit mappings of said name of controller
reverse engineering codes to say which game function maps to physical button numbers.
