King of Tokyo (Toy) For those of you who want to introduce hobby board games to non-board gamers, this is a really good game to do so. The theme is great for non-gamers and casual gamers and for a hobby game it is neither long nor expensive. Nearly everyone likes to throw dice around and there is a lot of player interaction even when it is not your turn because everyone's dice rolls and choices could affect everyone else. There are enough meaningful decisions to make the game not seem totally random, and there is a slight push-your-luck mechanic in the game. It also functions as a good family or party game, but on the other hand don't expect a deep and highly strategic game. 5 stars because what it sets out to do, it does really well.
