Panasonic DMC TS5A Digital Camera Intelligent

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS5A 16.1 MP Tough Digital Camera with 9.3x Intelligent Zoom (Blue) (Electronics) I'm a big fan of the Lumix Tough series of digital cameras. Short of professional-grade equipment, they're the best cameras for going snorkeling/hiking/camping with. The GPS/compass/barometer features are great. I love being able to see where I took pictures later on. Also I've used these line of cameras for years without any problems.

Pros:
* great screen
* great picture quality
* very rugged

The cons:
* slow software. cycling through pictures or zooming in on them can take a long time (multiple seconds between button pushes and screen updates). this wasn't an issue on my DMC-TS4 (it's predecessor)
* the wifi link software is lame... like most software hardware manufacturers write (with the exception of Apple).
