This game is a lot more fun with a twist. It becomes loud, noisy, obnoxious, and a bit more fun with a few extra cards thrown in. It would be almost better to play with people who are unfamiliar with the old rules, so that one isn't comparing the old vs new game.
The game provides hours of entertainment, if not necessarily an educational value. For that the price tag is worth it, although one can always buy an UNO deck of cards and play peacefully with that instead.
